Position Summary
eeking a Warehouse Lead or Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead warehouse personnel, improve productivity, maintain safety standards, and support receiving, unloading, fulfillment, and inventory activities within a food distribution environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of 30+ warehouse employees.
- Manage daily operations across receiving, unloading, will call, and order fulfillment functions.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to support productivity, accuracy, and service goals.
- Develop, implement, and maintain productivity and recognition programs.
- Train, coach, and develop warehouse team members.
- Schedule and direct daily activities of warehouse personnel.
- Maintain operational reports, logs, and department records.
- Process payroll and assist with department budgeting.
- Manage inventory movement and warehouse workflow.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve operational and customer issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Operate and oversee forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent related experience.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Experience in warehouse or distribution operations.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to make sound operational decisions and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in freezer, cooler, and dry storage environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- HACCP and/or SQF Certification.
- Manhattan WMS experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Experience operating electric pallet jacks and reach forklifts.
